VenueLOCATION Magnonics 2023 will take place in Le Touquet–Paris–Plage, from July 30th to August 3rd, 2023. The location is a beach resort located 250km north from Paris, which can easily be reached by train. The conference will be hosted in the Grand Hôtel Le Touquet.
Participants needing an invitation letter for a visa should contact the organizing committee (magnonics2023@sciencesconf.org).
A complimentary shuttle service will be available between the train station and the hôtel on Sunday, July 30th (specific times will be provided later so to match the trains arriving from Paris before 17h).
On Thursday, August 3rd for departures a shuttle service will be provided. For those arriving by car, please note that free parking is available directly at the hotel.

By Train To find train connections and book your train ticket, you can check out the SNCF website https://www.sncf-connect.com/en-en/ For the arrival train station you need to choose « Etaples Le Touquet » . Latest recommended arrival time at ETAPLES station is by using the K16 train leaving at 1:29 pm from Paris-Nord Station Note 1: Due to summer holidays in France (the weekend of 29-30 July will be very busy), please buy and reserve your ticket early enough, to avoid sold out trains. Note 2 for students and postdocs within Europe: to find cheap train tickets, please check out the Interail and Eurail websites, that provide good prices also for 4-,5- or 10- day travel passes, or one country passes, prices are in the range of 100 - 400 € https://www.interrail.eu/en/ and https://www.eurail.com/en
From Paris (~3h, 20-50 € single trip): There are many connections per day from Paris Charles de Gaulle airport, and from Paris Gare du Nord train station, some direct, some with 1-2 changes (see examples below) At Charles de Gaulle airport to find the TGV train station check out here: https://www.parisaeroport.fr/en/passengers/access/paris-charles-de-gaulle/train The SNCF railway station is located between Terminals 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F. Alternatively, you can take the Metro RER B to the train station Gare du Nord and take the train from Gare du Nord.
