Matesy GmbH has specialized in the visualization, characterization, and generation of magnetic fields. The core competence extends over the entire field of magnetism, especially magnetic and magneto-optical measurement technology/visualization and measurement of magnetic fields, 3D magnetic particle tracking, magnetic crystal development and lead testing. Matesy is the world market leader for monocrystalline yttrium-iron-garnet (YIG) coatings. Due to its low-defect layers, the low surface roughness, and the high layer thickness homogeneity (>99%) in the central area), the material is used worldwide in top-level research for magnonics and spintronics.
CAYLAR is a manufacturer of the three components to generate and control a magnetic field: Electromagnets, High accuracy and stability current source, NMR and HALL Teslameter and Regulator. CAYLAR offers complementary products as thermal chambers for sensor calibrations, ultra-high vacuum chambers and mechanical positioners multi-axis.
GMW offer a wide range of electromagnets with an emphasis on our products that address the needs of the magnonics research community. We offer a range of GMW projected field magnets that provide 2p steradian customer accessibility, ideal for on-wafer testing or for integration with microscopes/cryostats. Qnami develops ultrasensitive magnetic imaging tools based on quantum sensors. The Qnami ProteusQ microscope uses NV diamond sensors to quantitatively measure magnetic properties at the nanoscale in a wide range of materials without perturbing their magnetic order. ProteusQ is used to shed light on yet unknown magnetic phenomena in novel quantum materials and supports the development of new, energy-efficient spintronics devices. Qnami enthusiastically brings quantum sensing outside the lab to push the frontiers of materials science and in particular of nanomagnetism
Since the inception of the world's first fully automated SQUID-based magnetometer in 1982, Quantum Design has been at the forefront of magnetic characterization. From 50mK to 1000K at applied fields up to 16T, our group offers a variety of solutions and methods to characterize magnetic properties : MOKE, FMR, AC susceptibility, VSM, SQUID, as well as dedicated cryostats.

PEPR SPIN
PEPR-SPIN is a national program within the France 2030 plan. Its aim is to support a new cycle of innovations that consider frugality to be an equally essential performance criterion as computing power, speed, miniaturisation and cost. The project focuses on emerging themes in spin-orbitronics, magnonics and multifunctional materials and thus aims for the 'digital world' to grow at a sustainable environmental cost in the context of a return to technological independence.
The French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA) is a public research body. Its Division for Fundamental Research (DRF) carries out studies related to its missions in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology and climate and environmental sciences. In CEA, research in spintronics and magnonics takes place in the condensed matter physics department (SPEC) of CEA Paris-Saclay and in the Spintec department of CEA Grenoble.
